Call for Speakers – OpenSSL Conference 2025: Academic Contributions Welcome!

Dear colleagues,
The OpenSSL Conference 2025 is approaching, and the Call for Speakers is open until the end of June.
This is a great opportunity for academics—whether you’re a researcher, educator, or student—to contribute to a global conversation on applied cryptography and security, alongside practitioners, developers, and policy experts.
Your talk does not need to be focused exclusively on OpenSSL. Proposals are welcome on any topic that aligns with the wider themes of the event, including applied research, deployment challenges, best practices, or educational experiences in cryptography and secure systems.
🎙️ Why speak at OpenSSL Conference?
Complimentary pass for accepted speakers (travel support available where applicable)
Recognition on the official website and social media
Engagement with a global audience of open-source contributors and security professionals
Access to exclusive networking and social events with leading experts
🧠 Academic voices are especially encouraged to share:
Insights from applied cryptography or systems security research
Case studies from teaching or curriculum development
Reflections on interdisciplinary challenges (e.g., usability, legal, standardization)
Experience bridging theory and practice in security protocols or implementations
📅 Submit your proposal by June 30
