This month: CRA reporting obligations arriving on 11 September (and EU standards comment windows open now), AI-assisted security research collaboration, FIPS 140-3/CMVP status, OpenSSL Conference call-for-papers (~120 submissions), and communities housekeeping.
Questions and comments are welcome directly in those threads — your delegate carries this community's voice into the August calls.
Of particular note here: the conference call for papers may get a short extension — a good window for academic submissions.

Thank you for posting the minutes , I have been following further and focusing on Ai assisted security as I was recently reading an article on @ Agentic AI , @ Generative AI . Also since the formation of Open Source AI alliance or OSAA came into effect recently, How much does this influence this community in the near future
It will encourage ideas like open security tools ; resilience by design; collaborative defense
Also is in sync with EU AI regulation which encourages digital sovereignty , I am posting my question as it crossed my mind and relevant in EU - US or North America scenario, please correct me please and am open o hear your perspectives, Thank you and have a great day
