OpenSSL Conference 2026 scholarships

We're looking forward to the OpenSSL Conference that will happen from Oct. 13–15 in Prague. There are several things with deadlines on July 15:

I want to particularly bring up the scholarship with this group. Students in fields related to cryptography and internet security would most benefit from hearing the talks and meeting members of the OpenSSL community. But they also tend to be least able to afford the cost. That's why the OpenSSL Foundation has decided (for the second year in a row) to fund scholarships to attend the conference.

The Foundation has two requests:

  1. If you know anyone who could use a little help to attend the conference, point them to the scholarship application and suggest they apply. (And if you fall into that category, go ahead and apply yourself!)

  2. We could also really use your help to find candidates. If you are able to introduce us to anyone in another institution (or even someone else in your own institution) who might be able to put us into contact with suitable candidates that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help and I'm looking forward to seeing many of you in Prague this October.

  • yes I can share this with the research group at Politecnico by forwarding this email to the Professor I am currently working with or Fellow professionals in my network

    • With regards to a particular student. I don’t have anyone specific
