Agenda for the May meeting of the Foundation BAC

JE Jon Ericson Public Seen by 11

I've created a poll for a good time to meet in May. Please reply with any agenda items you'd like to suggest in addition to the Post-3.5 features poll.

I'd like to add a topic "Forks diversion: consequence for applications and OpenSSL"

The currently leading outcome of the poll suggests the meeting is today. Is that going to happen?

I have the same question

Given we haven't made a decision yet, I would say we have not given sufficient notice for this. Probably we need to reschedule.

@Matt Caswell The next leading option, excluding today, is tomorrow. But if we do not confirm this today we end up in the same situation. Or were you thinking about an entirely new poll with different dates?

Also, I noticed that the poll is supposed to close on 25.05, and that the only date after that is actually 29.05 (which is an outlier, as all other options seem to be in a different week). Is this intentional or is there some issue with the poll?

The poll has been extended with additional options on 28th and 29th May. Which are the only viable options now I think.

Sorry for the confusion. I realized the early dates wouldn't work because we only had two TAC members available. So I added some dates for next week.

It looks like we are going with Wed 28 May 2025 11:59PM Pacific time. (It's the last option on the list. Fun fact: that's midnight for me and the software set it to 11:59 pm to avoid confusion with noon. Of course that's even more confusing for people who have midnight at a different moment. ;-)

This time would leave off @timchevalier, unfortunately, but we don't have a good option given time zones. :-( I'll give @randallbecker time to respond and pick a time before the end of this week so that it won't be a surprise.

@Jon Ericson, it was mostly a bit amusing to see such a specific time as 8:59AM (central europe time) ;-)

So. Do we have a date/time for the next meeting and a calendar entry for it?
