Funding request: FOSDEM Distribution Community meet-up

Hi,
As we discussed at the recent BAC meeting, I'm requesting funding for the FOSDEM Distribution Community meet up on January 30, 2026 in Brussels.
The request is for a meeting room rent.
Proposed location is Mitwit at Luise (so very convenient for FOSDEM attendees).
Price for half a day (13-17) for the smaller (up to 12 people) is €231. For the bigger room (20?) is €390.
The request is for up to €600 including snacks/refreshments for attendees.
The venue offers coffee breaks/catering, yet this is just a basic estimate not based on their offer.
Btw. full day is €354/€599 in case the OpenSSL Corporation/Foundation would have any other use.

I abstain as this is my own proposal and I am in a conflict of interest. But of course I support it :).

Thank you for voting. I expect we'd consider a simple majority as the approval. I believe we should codify the process (let me draft it based on this experience).
@Anton Arapov @Lenka Luklova would OpenSSL Corporation book the meeting room on behalf of the Distribution community, or do you expect the community to book it and then reimburse?
