RFC Topics on the next BoD-TAC meeting (Monday, November 9th)

Hi TAC members,

Our next monthly Board and TAC call is Monday 9 November, 2:00–3:00 pm (second Monday, as usual). I’d like to collect topics before then, so please reply here with anything you want on the agenda.

Already proposed on it:

  • Review "Since last time" (conference panel, trip reports, Windows installer for 4.1)

    • Share any important updates worth raising

  • FIPS_mode() follow-through, API/ABI policy, FIPS 140-3 and entropy, Rust crate

  • RFC for proposals for TAC budget spending?

  • Any plans to join FOSDEM 2027 (Jan 30–31), including an open call for community rooms. Time for a Poll?

  • Small Business seat and the 2027 election cycle

What to reply with: one line per topic, plus what you need from the group (information, advice or a decision) and which community it comes from.

Please reply by Friday 6 November so the final agenda goes out over the weekend. Late items are welcome and will be taken under AOB.

UPKI poll is basically done - so I want to see it in the agenda

AI trailer - do we need it when all the contributions beyond the trivial ones are AI-supported?

Can we somehow reduce humans' review efforts with guardrails/CI/skills?
