Welcome to the combined Foundation Advisory Committee

Hello all and welcome to the new Foundation Advisory Committee space on the OpenSSL Communities platform. I'm leaving the previous two groups (Business Advisory (BAC), Technical Advisory (TAC)) open for now, but I will be archiving them at some point.

Our first official meeting will be at the OpenSSL Conference. The tentative plan is to meet at 5pm (GMT+2) on October 12. We'll try to set a call for people who can't make it in person. I'll send more details as the time comes closer.

Additionally, we have a panel scheduled for the conference. I'd like to get some volunteers to join me on stage. I will be inviting you all to a call next week to talk about the panel. That meeting will be entirely optional.

The next important step will be planning our meeting times. I will add a poll to this discussion with some suggested times. Timezones are always an issue, of course, but I'm sure we can make something work.
