Communities

The “Communities” group encompasses all involved in OpenSSL: Academics, Committers, Distributions, Individuals, Large Businesses, and Small Businesses. These diverse groups collaborate to shape the development and adoption of OpenSSL Foundation and OpenSSL Corporation projects, pooling their expertise to ensure that the OpenSSL Mission is delivered, enabling access to security and privacy tools that meet the varied needs of industries, academia, and independent contributors and users alike.

The rules for each community are expected to be adjusted by each community over time as part of community interactions as each community evolves.
