A call for testimonials!

Hello everyone!

The Foundation has been working on an update for our site to include "Testimonials". These are a sentence or two (at most) that help people who might not know anything about OpenSSL understand how critical this project really is. We'd like to have a variety of quotes from all sorts of people in the OpenSSL community.

If you'd like to help out, please email me ([email protected]) with:
* a very short quote
* your name
* title
* company
* maybe a photo

For an example, here's what I might contribute:

"I recently learned about the potential threat of quantum computers to traditional cryptography, so I checked my website. Turns out it was already quantum safe because I'd recently upgraded to the latest version of OpenSSL."

The more specific you can be to your own situation, the better. My testimonial is absolutely true, by the way. There's a site (which uses OpenSSL under the hood) to test a site: https://isitquantumsafe.info/. I was pleasantly surprised to see that updating my server to Ubuntu 25.10 (which ships with OpenSSL 3.5.3) automatically enabled it to support X25519MLKEM768. My site isn't exactly a high-priority target for anyone, but it's nice to not worry about it.

Please email me directly ([email protected]) if you have a testimonial or are interested in learning more.
