August meeting

Do we have a meeting on Thursday? If yes, I'd like to add a topic of to agenda.

I have extended support of EVP_SKEY so STORE interface becomes suitable to deal with EVP_SKEY objects (https://github.com/openssl/openssl/pull/28278), we have a PR regarding adding support of symmetric keys to "simple" KDFs (having one SKEY as argument or output) and I am going to try implementing some draft PR for "complex" KDFs (PRF, HKDF). The combination of the first 2 PRs and the 3rd, if I succeed, could become a significant improvement for OpenSSL 4.0. However, I will need some support in a form of a review.

I will raise the same question at the Corporation BAC.

Yes we are and I was about to ask for agenda items. I'd like to add:

  • an update on constant-time BIGNUM and
  • conference face-to-face and panel discussion.
