The “Distributions” group includes maintainers of operating systems or significant packages that integrate OpenSSL Foundation and OpenSSL Corporation projects. This community ensures that security and privacy tools are reliably packaged, tested, and delivered to end-users. Their contributions help keep security and privacy tools up-to-date, secure, and compatible with various platforms, ensuring widespread and consistent use across environments.
Each distribution within the “Distributions” group has an appointed representative as its voting member. This representative is responsible for casting the distribution’s single vote during elections or decision-making processes.
