Communities - Academics

The Academics community comprises scholars, researchers, students, academic institutions, university departments, and affiliated research organisations. This group contributes to the advancement of cryptographic research, facilitates knowledge exchange, and fosters structured collaboration between academia and the broader security industry to support innovation and informed development.

Each participating academic entity designates a representative to serve as its official delegate. This delegate is authorised to cast a single vote on behalf of their institution, department, or research group in formal decision-making processes, including elections and governance actions.

Delegates & advisory committee seats: every participating organisation is represented by one delegate — its voice and vote in the community. To change who represents your organisation, contact your community's BAC members (TAC as failover).
